Relationship Nodes¶
Description¶
Relationship nodes express constraints between simulated objects.

A Carbon relationship node.
They should always be connected after the objects’ common Merge node, otherwise Houdini will simply not pass them to the Carbon Simulation node.
They can be connected before or after the Carbon Simulation node.
Warning
- When connecting after the Carbon Simulation node, make sure to have the blue Display flag on the last node as otherwise Houdini would skip the evaluation of the relationship node.
Node List¶

This node disables collision between object pairs.

This node creates a hard or soft attachment between a cloth and a collider.

This node creates an attachment between two cloths, or between a cloth and itself.

This node creates a distance constraint between a cloth and a collider position offset, using both force and velocity controls.

This node creates a distance constraint between two cloths, or between a cloth and itself, using both force and velocity controls.

This node creates an attachment between two rigid bodies, or between a rigid body and an actor.
