Carbon Filter¶
Description¶
This node defines collision filter pairs between Carbon Collider, Carbon Morph, Carbon Cloth, Carbon Tetra, Carbon Rigid Body, Carbon Rigid Body Array, Carbon Plumage, or Carbon N-Lattice objects.
The two objects of each pair defined by the Carbon Filter won’t collide with each other during the simulation.

A Carbon Filter between two spherical cloth objects.
Note
If both objects are a Carbon Collider node, the filter will act as a Collision Analysis filter.
Inputs¶
Input #1: objects
All objects referenced by this relationship must also be connected to this input through a Houdini Merge node for the Carbon Filter node to operate within the Carbon Simulation it is connected to.
Parameters¶
Activation activation
Enable this relationship. Use 0 to disable, any other value to enable.
Filter Pairs
First Object first
The First Object of the collision filter pair.
The First Object can either be a Carbon Collider, a Carbon Morph, a Carbon Cloth, a Carbon Tetra, a Carbon Rigid Body, a Carbon Rigid Body Array, a Carbon Plumage, or a Carbon N-Lattice node.
Filter Count count
The number of filter pairs generated from this node using the specified First Object.
Second Object second#
The Second Object of the collision filter pair.
The Second Object can either be a Carbon Collider, a Carbon Morph, a Carbon Cloth, a Carbon Tetra, a Carbon Rigid Body, a Carbon Rigid Body Array, a Carbon Plumage, or a Carbon N-Lattice node.
